※ Don't Make Your Website Before Asking This Question! [Daily Guinness]
Monday Mar 25, 2024
Monday Mar 25, 2024
So many of my creative friends would rather stick their finger so far up their nose that they start gagging, rather than build a personal website. I get it! But, I’ve found that might change if you ask yourself this question first.

A convo with my friend Misty reminded me that my view of what “Gatekeeper” looks like in the age of modern music, isn’t a universal experience. Especially, when it comes to being a badass woman.

🇮🇪 The Guinness Guru (feat. Daragh Curran)
Sunday Mar 17, 2024
Sunday Mar 17, 2024
Daragh Curran is best known worldwide as “The Guinness Guru.” He’s visited almost every pub in Ireland, a ton in the UK, and some in the US, and rated the pint of proper placed in front of him. Join us as we discuss how to drink a Guinness, and what he looks for when rating it. We also dive into the creative process, why there’s no such thing as an “Overnight Success” and why he’s stepping down as The Guinness Guru.

🇮🇪 Why Not Give It A Shot? [St. Patrick's Week 2024 feat. Kieran Folliard)
Saturday Mar 16, 2024
Saturday Mar 16, 2024
Originally Aired: April 26th, 2022
Do you have an idea you’re sitting on, but you’ve been hesitant to give it a shot?
Maybe it’s new and you’re nervous. Maybe you don’t know where to start. Maybe you do, but the logistics seem daunting… Kieran Folliard knows what that feels like but thinks you should still give it a shot!
Kieran’s name is synonymous with Irish pubs in the Twin Cities and he just released a new Irish whiskey called Red Locks. But our story doesn’t start there… almost 10 years ago, Sarah and I got our engagement photos taken at his pub The Local and his previous whiskey endeavor sponsored our wedding!
Join us for a conversation over Red Locks Irish Whiskey about how that came about, strapping up your knees to give your ideas a shot, and what stands in the way.

🇮🇪 Irish Storytelling & The Art Of Conversation (Feat. Roy Connaughton)
Friday Mar 15, 2024
Friday Mar 15, 2024
Whether you’re at a pub, a coffee shop, or in line at the DMV, striking up a conversation with a stranger can be intimidating. That said, I’m convinced it’s one of the foundations of living a curious life.
You may just have a kind interaction but you never know, you may be sitting across from a future close friend, or in Roy Connaughton’s case, a future friend and your future Irish Pub co-owner.
With the convenient distraction of a cell phone in our pocket at all times, we’ve never had an easier excuse to not strike up a conversation, but Roy says that it’s not that simple. Growing up in Ireland pre-cellphones and social media, there’s always been an excuse to not strike up a conversation but it you can get over that hurdle… you never know where in the world life will take you!

✈️ IRELAND [H.W.Y.T. feat. Owen & Elsa]
Thursday Mar 14, 2024
Thursday Mar 14, 2024
In the first installment of my new series “How Was Your Trip?” I sit down over a pint of Guinness (ok… a few pints…) with my friends Owen and Elsa who just returned from their latest trip to Ireland.
Does Guinness taste better in Ireland?
What’s their advice when it comes to pub etiquette?
Where does the term, “Get your round in come from?”
What advice do they have for someone visiting Ireland for the first time?
I've got a ton of questions, but let's start with the obvious one... How was your trip?
