This past week, my curiosity led me to giving a relationship another go. It was a rough breakup, we haven't been on speaking terms, but... I may be willing to give the relationship another chance...
Because of this change of heart, it led me to finding out about a Non-Profit here in Minnesota who's main goal is to help musicians have more successful careers. I'm a musician. I live in Minnesota. I want a succesful career... why have I never heard about the Minnesota Music Coalition before? Funny how things work out, I have a feeling this short conversation may lead to a longer one in the future.

What's the perfect question to ask when sitting down at a new cocktail bar for the first time? What happens to a cocktail lounge when MN Legislation says you can only serve alcohol you make on the premises... and people show up asking for the classics? “Give Us This Day Our Daily Guinness” - DAY 5
Germany has a winter tradition of brewing a dark-strong beer called an "Eisbock" (pronounced Ice-Bock... yes... Ice is actually involved) But here's the real kicker: Tradition is to heat up an iron rod till it gets red hot and 'poke' your beer by sticking it in for a split second. The reaction is an instant boiling frothy head, a toasty aroma and the rest of the beer stays cold. I've never seen it done in person, so when Sarah found out Joel Scott at Northbound in South Minneapolis was doing it this afternoon... we had to check it out.
